Asomaton is located in the heart of Athens.
Just outside our door, the city begs to be discovered. A short walk will bring you to Thisio and Monastiraki square where you can haggle for treasures at the city’s largest flea market. From Thisio you can walk the Apostolou Pavlou uphill to reach the Acropolis. From Monastiraki a pedestrian street called Ermou will take you to Syntagma where you can admire the changing of the guard in front of the Parliament Building. A few minutes southeast of Syntagma you will stumble upon Plaka, the charming neighborhood tucked beneath the hill of Acropolis. Full of winding pedestrian streets and preserved neoclassical houses, Plaka is the postcard neighborhood of Athens. And of course, no visit to Athens would be complete without a stop at Acropolis Museum where you can refresh your memory of ancient Greek history before climbing the hill of Acropolis to stand in awe of the world’s most cherished monuments. All these within 20-minutes walk.
